Louth Library Service Ambassador

What a great privilege to have been invited by Louth Libraries to be one of their #IrelandReads Ambassadors. Ireland Reads is a wonderful national initiative which encourages people of all ages to read during February and particularly on Ireland Reads Day on 22nd February! Thank you Louth Library Service – I am so very excited!

Louth Library Services: We’re delighted to have local children’s author Emer Conlon as one of our #IrelandReads Reading Ambassadors this year!

“As with so many people, I don’t get much time to read, but Ireland Reads is all about making time to ‘squeeze in a read’. It’s a great initiative that makes us all become a little more mindful of the importance of books and reading and to create a space in our busy lives to escape between the pages of a great book – whatever the genre.
My favourite books are thrillers, and in particular those penned by Harlen Coben. His books keep me engaged from start to finish and the unpredictable twists keep me turning the pages. I think his particular style creates a gripping reading experience and his fast-paced plots literally pulls me into a different world, making it a great break from reality!”
Ireland Reads takes place this year on Saturday 22nd February. For more information, follow this link: https://www.irelandreads.ie/
